They also guide guests during the Okunoin Cemetery night tours and imbue it with a lot of meaning.

Offering a garden and garden view, 高野山 宿坊 龍泉院 -Koyasan Shukubo Ryusenin- is set in Koyasan, 45 km from Matsushita Park and 48 km from Subaru Hall. this is a very authentic 真言宗 temple. the monks are very friendly, we feel cozy and being well taken care of. the food was very good! it’s close to the bus stop, literally a minute walk.

Situated in Koyasan in the Wakayama region, 宿坊 光明院 features accommodation with free WiFi and free private parking, as well as access to a hot tub. The location near Okunoin was very peaceful and exactly what I was looking for. The kindness of the monk was just the way I would imagine. Very precious experience.

Our room was large but very cute with a nice garden and in a great location. And staff was very helpful. We also got some cool amenities.

The street the rooms are located on is absolutely stunning, and the rooms themselves are very comfortable and stylish. A very special experience with the outdoor bath and traditional breakfast. Staff were attentive and knowledgeable.
